The Story

The Perfectionist

Rick Kinzbrunner trained in Bordeaux and Burgundy before searching Australia for the perfect site. He found it in Beechworth—an old gold mining town with decomposed granite soils and a cool continental climate. Since 1985, he has pursued perfection with monastic dedication, making wines that rival the great white Burgundies.
