The Story
A Forester's Vision
Dave Powell was a forestry worker in Scotland when he fell in love with wine. Moving to the Barossa in the 1990s, he saw what others overlooked: abandoned old-vine vineyards, some over 150 years old, being ripped out for more profitable crops. He began buying fruit from these forgotten plots, creating wines that would change Australian wine forever.
